Avatar – lion

when deciding what my to make my avatar, to best remember the person described by my narrative, i thought of the main qualities of that person that i can understand and see as being vital to her personality.
she is a mother – a carer, a nurturer, understands importance of family and community
donates for world vsiosn – again community, nurturer.
she is independant and strong aswell.
For me, to best remember this character for cat protection society, i think the avatar should be a lioness.
why?
because to me, a lioness is a strong individual who works together with her pride to hunt and survive. she cares for any young within the pride, her own or others. she does not rely on the male of the pride to supply food. they have a presence, a particular confidence in themselves.
I best represent my ideas through drawing so this is how i will present my avatar!
